Oppo will likely bring significantly more mid-range smartphones to the markets in the coming weeks, including the A52 and A72.
In recent years, Huawei has offered a number of interesting mid-range smartphones in addition to Samsung and several bestsellers. While Samsung can still defend itself with its own devices, Huawei smartphones without Google apps only interest a few people. Exactly the right time for manufacturers like Oppo and Xiaomi to attract the interest of customers with their own devices.
Oppo A52 and A72: different cameras, otherwise many things are the same
Oppo will shortly offer two new Android 10 mid-range smartphones in the form of the A52 and A72 smartphones. As far as names go, this somewhat clashes with Samsung’s mid-range series. For the base, Oppo relies on the Snapdragon 665, 4GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of storage for both smartphones. 5000 mAh is also available on both smartphones, but the A72 wants to convince with a 48 MP main camera.
Oppo probably installed a fingerprint sensor on the housing frame in combination with the power button, there are also Bluetooth 5, Wlan 5, a jack connection, USB-C and other cameras like ultra wide angle, depth and macro. The 6.5-inch LC display should also be identical on both devices.
The market launch can be expected in the coming weeks, also here in Germany.
