Google is introducing more innovations for the Assistant, this time called Action Blocks. Intended primarily for users with cognitive disabilities, these are shortcuts for the Google Assistant. These shortcuts are stored with an image clearly visible on the home screen and are of course quite easy to access from there. In the best case, an image is stored that clearly “describes” the stored voice command.

Action Blocks can be configured to do everything the assistant can do with the touch of a finger: call a loved one, share your location, watch your favorite show, control lights, and more.

Google is testing the new feature for now, so it will only be available to users in the coming months. Anyone who is very interested can apply for the trial phase.
