For years, fans have debated who is the perfect boyfriend for Rory, aka Alexis Bledel, on “Gilmore Girls.” High school sweetheart Dean, bad boy Jess, or millionaire son Logan? Now the actress herself spoke about the series’ romances.
On the People Entertainment Network’s “EW Reunites: Gilmore Girls” Alexis Bledel answered questions about Rory’s love affairs. “They were all interesting for different reasons,” explained the actress. “The three of them are so different people that they reveal so many different aspects of my character. I think that’s why it’s so cool that she [„Gilmore Girls“-Macherin Amy Sherman-Palladino] he designed it this way. “
With Dean Forester, played by Jared Padalecki, Alexis Bledel begins the journey into the past: “He is yours [Rorys] first great love, that’s why she’s in awe. That has a huge impact on them. After all, it took him a long time to get over it. ” Then the beautiful Jess Mariano aka Milo Ventimiglia came into his life, a bad boy who is completely addicted to Rory. “Jess is like a shock to the system. It’s a 180 degree turn for her. So she tries to discover a new side of her personality and challenge herself more intellectually for fun, in a more adult way. “
Logan as a surrogate father?
But one thing is still missing: Logan Huntzberger aka Matt Czuchry, who played a very special role in Rory’s life. “Logan always struck me as a version of someone Rory imagines to be her father,” admits Alexis Bledel and continues on the blonde head of “Gilmore Girls”: “His life is like Lorelai and Christopher and their relationship. Maybe this is how their life would have been if they had stayed together. At the end of the conversation, Alexis Bledel couldn’t help laughing. “I’ve never said so much about it,” she said, bewildered.
It doesn’t matter if Team Dean, Jess or Logan, we think Alexis Bledel really got to the heart of the relationship between his alter ego from the series Rory and men.
