A large selection of hardware platforms and streaming services also brings with it various problems, because from time to time the necessary cooperation between companies is lacking. So it should be again at Amazon and Disney. So far, there have been frictions between the companies that could ensure that there will be no Disney + on the Fire TV platform. Equally disadvantageous for both companies, but especially for end customers.

Disney + not for Fire TV for now

One of the biggest TV platforms in the world won’t offer any proper app at the start of Disney + – at least that’s what it looks like today. Until a few weeks ago Google and Amazon did not agree, now the respective TV and video services are compatible with each other. By then a few years had passed.

Amazon is demanding more ad space from or at Disney, which Disney currently does not want to get involved with. For a successful start, Disney + is completely dependent on the apps being available on all popular platforms. Disney + will launch publicly around the world in November, in Europe only in the Netherlands for now.
