Anyone who sees Carey Mulligan in the movie “Suffragette” might think that this woman is not afraid. In the film, the actress plays the role of the infantryman Maud, who belongs to the political movement of women in Britain at the beginning of the 20th century. But unlike her role, Carey Mulligan isn’t that good at handling some things …

One of those things is nude scenes, as Carey Mulligan revealed in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar: “As an actress, I have no problem with that. But in private … The last time I wore a bikini to the beach was three years ago on a family vacation.“Said the actress. “I would never wear a dress that ends above my knees on the red carpet.” Carey Mulligan had to be naked in the shower for the movie “Shame.”

Carey Mulligan has become more confident

Carey Mulligan, however, was able to approach the nude scene because she could trust her director Steve McQueen. “I would do anything for the people I have worked with because I trust them”explained the actress in an interview with “Harper’s Bazaar.” She used to be so neurotic that she vomited before the test. Even when celebrities attended her performances later, Carey Mulligan freaked out.

Carey Mulligan ran away from Sam Mendes and Kate Winslet

Because when Kate Winslet and Sam Mendes suddenly appeared on set, Carey Mulligan panicked. “All the actors met the two of them, I went out the back door. He didn’t want to be around her because she was so embarrassed. I took a taxi, went home and cried, ”the 29-year-old revealed. Meanwhile, the actress’s doubts are said to have lessened. “It’s easier for me now,” Carey Mulligan said in an interview. “It probably comes with aging.”

Who would have thought that? Carey Mulligan’s doubts used to be so severe that she threw up before the test and ran away from her famous colleagues. In the meantime, however, the actress has learned something new and gradually gained self-confidence, a great role model for people who may feel the same way.
