Google plans to take over the next Android feature for Chrome OS, this time about auto-hiding menus and the address bar. If you scroll with the mobile version of Chrome on Android devices, the address bar will be automatically hidden and displayed again. However, on Chrome OS, the top of the browser has been rigid so far, which could change based on the latest information.

Precisely because Chrome OS will increasingly run on tablets in the future, like Google’s own Pixel Slate, such improvements are quite conceivable. Version 70 of the operating system has numerous innovations on board anyway, which further optimize the software for tablets. Such innovation should only be available for tablet mode on Chrome OS devices, according to the latest reports.

The new feature is currently only available on the Canary Channel on Chrome OS.
