Datally is said to have disappeared from Google Play Store in the meantime, for some people the app cannot be installed at all or the new Android 10 causes problems. In the last few days there have been several messages about the Google Datally application, which is primarily intended to monitor and keep mobile data traffic under control. There are some signs that Datally will be discontinued soon.

Datally is raising some questions

Basically, the poor maintenance of the app speaks for it, because the last update was released almost a year ago. Also, Datally could not be found in the Play Store recently. And if it does, the Play Store informs you that the app is not available when you try to install it. The API target is still on Android 8, which was released two years ago, but Datally runs on Android 10 for me too.

Android has even built in a rudimentary data-saving mode (see System Settings> Network and Internet), and individual apps like Google Chrome have similar functions too. Another alternative would be Samsung Max, but it is not compatible with all devices. Datally is still available via APKMirror, just install it and try it yourself.
