Ryan Reynolds will also be the deadly fighter in “Deadpool,” but another mutant has to go: instead of Daniel Cudmore, someone other than the Silver Colossus will be seen.
Colossus makes an impressive appearance in the last part of the “X-Men” series, “Future is Past”, he can transform his body into organic steel. Daniel Cudmore also portrayed the silver mutant in “X-Men 2” and “X-Men – The Last Stand” – but is not returning for the spin-off “Deadpool,” although Colossus himself is said to appear in it. Cudmore announced Twitterthat he is not involved.
Thank you all for all the support for me. 2 repeat the role of #Colossus in #Dead Pool but unfortunately it won’t happen to me

Long-requested fan-based spinoff movie “Deadpool” opens February 18, 2016 in our theaters. Tim Miller, who previously directed only two shorts and worked on the special effects for “Scott Pilgrim Against the Rest of the World” and “Mass Effect 2,” the video game, has directed it.
Ryan Reynolds, who was very committed to the making of “Deadpool,” reverts to the namesake mutant assassin with self-healing powers after his appearance in “X-Men Origins: Wolverine.”
