Sky was unable to come to terms with Disney Plus for its own customers, and there is also no Sky Q receiver app at the moment.
For weeks there has been speculation about which television providers in Germany will get an exclusive deal with Disney Plus. In fact, with MagentaTV, Telekom beat the competition from Sky Deutschland. Disney Plus is free for Telekom customers for up to 6 months. Which in the end does not surprise us either. In recent years, Sky had always fallen asleep at the front, and this time too, unfortunately, they are no exception. In any case, there is still no agreement with Disney for Sky subscribers for the new Disney Plus. Another communication clearly highlights these omissions.
Disney Plus for Sky Q is yet to come
On the internal forum, Sky announces that several Disney channels are still on the show. Good. However, Disney Plus as an app in the Sky Q receiver is not to be expected so fast. To be more precise, the wait time should take more than a year, writes Sky Community moderator Oliver B. in a statement. Last but not least, there is also news about Disney +: the streaming service since April 2021 it will be available on the Sky Q platform ”.

Disney Junior will end on March 31. However, a replacement has already been made: the NickToons and Nick Jr. stations will begin on Sky in April.
Last but not least, there is also news about Disney +: the streaming service will be available on the Sky Q platform from April 2021.
