Sarah Engels and Pietro Lombardi are in the DSDS Grand Final. Which of the two will become Germany’s superstar in 2011 and win a record deal with Universal Music?
Pietro Lombardi and Sarah Engels – The two DSDS candidates are the top two singers out of 34,956 candidates and are fighting for victory in the DSDS grand final. In the DSDS finale, the two sing three songs each: their song of the heart, the highlight song of the season, and the winning track “Call My Name” composed especially for them by Dieter Bohlen. Pietro Lombardi sings “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross and his season climax “Que Sera, Sera” by Hermes House Band. Sarah Engels sings on Whitney Houston’s DSDS finale “How Will I Know” and Leona Lewis’s “Run” season climax
The top 10 candidates eliminated so far will also be part of the spectacular final show. With the group song “Higher” by Taio Cruz feat. Kylie Minogue, Ardian Bujupi, Marco Angelini, Sebastian Wurth, Zazou Mall, Norman Langen, Anna-Carina Woitschack, Nina Richel, and Marvin Cybulski will warm up DSDS viewers. The group’s traditional song and a duet shouldn’t be missing between the two finalists either: Sarah and Pietro will spend their time on DSDS with the title “The Time (Dirty Bit)” by Black Eyed Peas and the song “We Got Tonight” by Ronan Keating. and Jeanette Biedermann review their voices. DSDS mascot Menderes Bagci will also deliver a big surprise on Saturday night.
