Huawei will bring the Mate 30 Pro to Germany and users of Google apps will have a bit of work to do with this smartphone.
Huawei will bring the Mate 30 Pro to Germany and other European countries in the coming days. In a single variant, because inevitably there are no Google apps, and therefore the demand for high-end smartphones will be relatively low. But you can install the Google apps yourself with a lot of work. However, there are some catches. That is why Google services cannot be fully used automatically and there are problems for other well-known applications as well.
Netflix only indirectly, Google Pay not working
Android allows relatively simple installation of apps from all sources except the Play Store, and even cumbersome ways are feasible and available. But there are other obstacles that cannot be overcome. The missing security certificates cannot be installed, users have been unlucky in this regard. If you decide to manually install Google apps on the Mate 30 Pro, you have to do without Google Pay from today’s perspective.
There is also a lack of certifications for media applications. Amazon should be viable without a problem, Netflix needs a major workaround. This has to do with the copy protection certificates that Google offers to Android manufacturers.
Not only for these instructions, the Huawei blog will be worth checking out in the next few days. Marco has the Mate 30 Pro with him and is working on creating some interesting guides for readers and interested parties.
Netflix’s solution was found (with the help of tech savvy people). We will write more about the topic and how to get apps in general in the coming days!

Another reliable source for Android apps is APKMirror from well-known colleagues at Android Police. There you will always find the latest app versions of many popular and free Android apps. As a result, you can get along without an app store, because Huawei’s AppGallery currently doesn’t have much to offer.
