IPhone contacts are not saved on the SIM card, but directly on the device. However, you can export your contacts as “vcf” files through iCloud or special applications, making it easy to send or transfer them to other devices. Our instructions show you how:

Export iPhone contacts via iCloud

Before you start exporting, you must have the Download contacts to iCloud. To do this, open the “Settings“>”Apple ID“>”iCloud“And activate the Button to “contacts“. Tap on “Link“To confirm the operation.

Now you can export the contacts. To do this, follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the short instructions.

1st step:

Login through your browser www.iCloud.com with his Apple ID and click “contacts“.

  1. Download the application “Simple backup” from the App store down.
  2. Open the application and allow access to your contacts through “Access contacts“>”OK“.
  3. Tap on “Follow“After the contacts have been imported into the application.

  5. The “vcf“-proceedings is found as attachment in the email. Send this to someone or save the file, for example, on your computer.
