Facebook has changed its outward appearance in recent months, which now includes the look of its own logo. Facebook now wants to appear less like Facebook, but much more like a business for a variety of interesting services. So the Facebook logo is now colored instead of blue as before. This includes the Facebook logo in the colors of Instagram or in green of WhatsApp. These innovations are not exactly revolutionary, Facebook just wants to create a clearer reference to its own company in the “purchased” applications.

Years ago we started to speak more clearly about the products and services that are part of Facebook, promoting products like Oculus, Workplace and Portal. And in June we started adding “from Facebook” to all of our apps. In the coming weeks we will use the new brand on our products and marketing materials, including a new company website.
