Mozilla releases the new version 70 of the application for the Firefox browser, which includes some very interesting innovations. This includes the “Privacy Protection Report”, which informs users in detail about which trackers the browser has recognized and blocked. The browser uses what is known as social tracking protection to prevent cross-site tracking, like the one used by Facebook, for example. Lockwise is a new password tool that Mozilla explains as follows:

  • With Lockwise for desktop, you can create, update, and delete your logins and passwords to keep them in sync across all your devices, including Lockwise mobile apps and Firefox mobile browsers.
  • Integrated security breach alerts through Firefox Monitor to notify you when saved logins and passwords are compromised in an online data breach.
  • Complex password generation that allows you to create and save strong passwords for new online accounts.

Firefox version 70 will soon be available for all known platforms, including of course Android again.
