In the category “Docutainment”, the award went to the ZDF program “On the Flight – The Experiment”. The show, in which German celebrities try their luck with “temporary refugees,” had previously been criticized by human rights organizations. Vox’s popular show “Shopping Queen” with designer Guido Maria Kretschmer and RTL2’s long-running hit “Berlin Day and Night” were also nominated in the “Docutainment” category, but were left empty-handed.
