A look at the source code for the Google application reveals upcoming innovations for the Assistant. Among other things, the folks at 9to5Google found out that the Google Assistant will soon have a floating action button. We can use this to access various functions through quick access. From today’s perspective, this includes reminders, notes, and appointments. Then the button can be found in the visual view of the Google Assistant on smartphones. Usually in the lower right corner, like in other Google apps.

Driving mode is on the way

Also, the Google Assistant driving mode no longer has a codename. However, it is still not entirely clear when this new feature will be activated for everyone. Google will use it to replace Android Auto for smartphones, it was officially announced in May.
