The new Pixel 4 camera features are carried over to the third generation. With the Pixel 4, Google has given the built-in camera a major update, and one of the big innovations is the ability to take pictures of the night sky at any time. Google sees the point in telephoto instead of ultra-wide, so the Pixel 4 only has a new zoom sensor. Regardless, the novelty seems to be night vision, which will please Pixel 3a and Pixel 3 owners.

Google announced via Twitter, among other things, that night vision astrophotography will also land on the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a series smartphones. The manufacturer doesn’t give an exact date for this, but we do expect an update this year. This is accompanied by the provision of an additional innovation, which will initially be delivered exclusively from the factory on the Pixel 4.

Live Caption coming to Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a

Google’s Android software can create live captions with the latest version. Be it a video message from a friend or a YouTube video. If you can’t hear the sound, the smartphone will help you with the subtitles at the push of a button. Google will also bring this feature to all third-generation Pixel smartphones.
