In a new changelog for the internal Gboard, Google promises that the keyboard on Android devices should now be much faster. They seem to have implemented various optimizations that improve input latency and also make Gboard start up faster. Sometimes only very small improvements can be clearly noticed in everyday life. The innovations announced by Google initially only affect the beta version of Gboard, which we receive through the Play Store or APKMirror.
