Google is finally making so-called collections more accessible directly in its own Google app. In addition, with the latest update there is also a slight redesign of the function, so the basic structure is hardly changed. Collections are now (finally) accessible via buttons in the main menu at the bottom of the screen, this replaces access to the most recently performed searches. You can now access this through “More”.

As already mentioned, the collection images have also changed a bit. But it’s really not worth talking about. In the course of changes, the possibility of approval for other users can be achieved more quickly. Functionally there appear to be no changes.

First, the users of the beta version (10.70.4) will receive the new features mentioned, in the next few days or weeks all the users of the final version should also update accordingly. It is certainly not a first attempt at the innovations, but just a final public test before it is available to everyone.

P.S.: By the way, the collections are also available on the desktop, just click on this link.
