However, the Chrome OS team does not forget to implement this feature for the desktop operating system as well. There are more suggestions and even the first screenshots of how dark mode could be implemented on Chromebooks and Chrome OS tablets. Spoiler: It’s getting pretty dark.

So far, dark mode is only available in the Chrome OS developer version, because this innovation is not finished yet. It’s exciting that dark mode can also darken websites if desired.
