Vacaciones en "Das Ludwig" con un toque occidental bávaro

Holidays at “Das Ludwig” with a Bavarian Western flair

Research trip

What? Three weeks ago? Incredible. I recently told you that we were on vacation in Bavaria. Of course, anyone who follows us on Instagram and Facebook has known this for a long time. Bavaria is practically around the corner and therefore the perfect place for a short weekend trip. It is not a long journey and still very varied. Also: Bavaria is very good compared to Austria in terms of prices. This time we ended up in Bad Griesbach Family and wellness hotel “Das Ludwig”.

Bavarian comfort in the restaurant

Bad Griesbach is a dream spa town, very dignified, very Bavarian, very rustic. Practically pure white sausage. And, of course, incredibly cozy. “Das Ludwig” is the cheapest wellness hotel with babysitting we have visited in our parenting career so far (and ours The vacation list is long now). A room for four (two connecting rooms) costs 338 euros in high season with a 3/4 pension. Special offers for families There always are, so the homepage is worth a look… In any case, we think the prices are more than fair. The price-performance ratio is absolutely correct, even if there are wellness hotels with better indoor spas. But who wants to splash in in the summer? There are too many things out there! Also, childcare is in “The Ludwig” Still, it’s so varied that little ones usually don’t have time to hang out with their parents; it’s just too exciting to see what things Detlef and Co. have come up with.

And of course the surroundings of Bad Griesbach also have a lot to offer families. After all, you don’t just travel to a region by hotel, you also want to explore the surroundings. Not far from Bad Griesbach are Bayern Park with many attractions (Professional mothers only recommend the park for children from the age of five) and also the western city “Pullman City” it is not far away. And because the twins like to ride ponies, of course we visit the wild west in southern Germany. By the way, children’s admission to Pullman City is free on Sundays. Magic shows, cowboy demonstrations can be seen and Indians young and old can go archery or sheriff hunting. We can absolutely recommend Pullman City as a place to visit!

Sure, it’s somehow weird when suddenly there’s a tavern town in the middle of Bavaria, but it’s actually quite fun… Not every day, but it’s definitely worth a trip!

Western slapstick in the heart of Bavaria.

What to do after an exciting day Back at the hotel, of course. It is good that “Das Ludwig” offers 3/4 board with buffet. Because the It is well known that children eat us poor. Guests big and small can help themselves as much as they can: kid-friendly, low-calorie and healthy, or hearty in Bavaria? There is something for everyone here …
