Honor is currently preparing the market launch of its next Android smartphones, with the V30 there will soon be a new high-end smartphone from the Chinese. A major change can bring the V30 closer to Huawei’s P Series and the competition. A leak is said to show a wireless charger that Honor supposedly prepared for the V30. Of course, this goes hand in hand with the fact that the V30 can be charged wirelessly.

As with other manufacturers, the device is simply placed on the charger and charges wirelessly via the Qi standard. However, it is still unclear how real the leak is and how fast the smartphone charges wirelessly. Basically anything between 5 and 30 watts is possible, although Honor smartphones probably won’t be able to keep up with Huawei devices.

Wireless charging is generally not built into cheap smartphones

Until now, wireless charging has generally not been integrated into cheaper smartphones, and manufacturers generally save themselves the additional costs. But here too you have to rethink, because the competition is offering more and more and of course it is also getting more creative with the features. I charge my smartphone wirelessly on my desk, it saves battery life and annoying cables are obsolete too.
