Huawei will soon bring its own mobile services to version 4, which should have some innovations on board.
Huawei is developing its own mobile services for future and previous Android smartphones, which should be able to replace various Google services in the long term. However, this task is quite complex and development takes time. A few days ago, Huawei announced a new state of affairs. Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) soon reached version 4.0 and will be released in a new beta version soon. Version 3 of Huawei’s mobile services is currently available internationally, including through the Google Play Store.
Huawei continues to expand its own mobile services
With version 4.0 of its mobile services, Huawei presents a new version of Push Kit. It is a push notification service and similar functions. There are also several innovations for added security, for example to automatically verify the security of applications. Google offers Google Play Protect, among other things, which are trusted by most manufacturers. Huawei also wants to improve its own account services, in-app payment services, advertising services, and more.
Until now, Huawei has been using various Google services internationally, but is no longer able to do so for new devices due to the US embargo. Therefore, many services and functions need to be recreated more or less.
