With Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) as a mentor, it stands to reason that Peter Parker will follow in his footsteps. As a new trailer for “Far From Home” shows, this also applies to her outfit, which is also a fashion accessory.
Warning, spoilers for “Avengers 4: Endgame” will follow.
Iron Man fans had to be very strong when Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) sacrificed himself at the end of “Avengers: Endgame” to defeat Thanos and save humanity. At least before that, he still had time to put an apprentice by his side and prepare him for everyday life as a hero. Thanks mostly to their support, Peter Parker (Tom Holland) eventually became Spider-Man. In his second MCU solo film, “Spider-Man: Far From Home,” he will remember his mentor Iron Man in particular, as now underlined by a new Far East trailer. After unusual sunglasses were Tony Stark’s trademark until now, his former protégé will now get a stylish accessory to help him with his missions.
Following in the footsteps of Iron Man
The previous trailers made it clear without a doubt the great importance that Stark had for Peter Parker, for example, in a scene in which he contemplates pensively from the roof of a house a graffiti in memory that honors the heroism of Iron Man. He has not only Happy (Jon Favreau), Tony Stark’s former assistant, by his side, but also technical devices that he owes to his role model. In the new trailer we see how Peter takes possession of a multifunctional glasses from Stark Industries comes from.
What exactly the glasses are capable of, we’ll probably only find out in the final movie. But even the brief moment in the preview shows: It has an interactive operating system that Peter is in direct contact with. It also appears to be able to outline anyone in its field of vision. – and even decide the messages those people send. Before Peter can use his new device in the fight for life or death, he witnesses, for example, how his friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) writes love messages to his seatmate on the bus.
You’ll find out what else Peter Parker’s new tool can do, how important the role of Iron Man’s legacy really is in the movie, and what role Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal) will play. Starting July 4, 2019 – “Spider-Man: Far From Home” will be screened in German cinemas.
