TCL shows three new mid-range smartphones with the Android operating system on board, including one with the latest 5G chip from Qualcomm
TCL 10L, TCL 10 Pro and TCL 10 5G are the names of the new mid-range smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer, which are also priced in euros and are therefore likely to be sold in our stores. At the beginning of the year, these Android phones were suggested. The most expensive model in particular is of interest for its 5G wireless technology; it also offers the Snapdragon 765G chip and therefore belongs to the premium mid-range. You only want 399 euros for a technically interesting package that also has a 6.53 ″ LC screen, 4500 mAh battery, 64 MP quad camera and 6/128 GB memory.
TCL serves the premium middle class
The TCL 10 Pro “only” has the Snapdragon 675 chip, but a 6.47 “AMOLED display with an integrated fingerprint sensor. In addition, it is a well-known 64 MP camera sensor with a larger aperture, the ultra-wide angle sensor has a resolution of 16 MP even twice as high. It’s hard to judge which package is ultimately better. For the Pro, however, TCL charges 449 euros, which in my opinion makes this model immediately less attractive.
The TCL 10L, which the manufacturer wants to sell for just 249 euros, offers a little less of everything. The base is a Snapdragon 665 chip, plus there is a 48 MP main camera and a 6.53 ″ LC screen and only a 4000 mAh battery.
Everything is exciting. The top two models should have a very good display that, among other things, can convert SDR to HDR in real time. The question always arises, how much of such additives appears effectively on such small displays. It took TCL four months from the first announcement to the current presentation, hopefully availability will be delayed again.
