The first three parts of the Hunger Games franchise hit the box office and made Jennifer Lawrence a world-famous star. This year, the finale of The Hunger Games, feared by fans, will hit theaters, but rumors are mounting that The Hunger Games could spread. Will Jennifer Lawrence stay true to her starring role?

A life and death struggle in which only one person will leave the playing field alive: this story attracted thousands of movie lovers from around the world to theaters. “The Hunger Games” caused a stir that probably neither the producers nor the lead actress Jennifer Lawrence had expected. With each completed part of the series, the tension increased and Jennifer Lawrence became more and more a famous Hollywood star.

Jennifer Lawrence starred in The Hunger Games

At the end of November 2015, the second part of the grand finale of “The Hunger Games” will hit theaters, but true fans shouldn’t be too happy about that. Jennifer Lawrence will be seen in the role of Katniss Everdeen for the last time, because with “The Hunger Games – Mockingjay 2” the saga ends – at least as far as the novel is concerned. If you believe the rumors that “Deadline” is spreading now, there seems to be reason to hope Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth may not give up their film roles entirely.

“The Hunger Games” and its history

As the movie magazine speculates, the media company “Lions Gate Entertainmet” may consider extending “The Hunger Games” and making more movies. However, that doesn’t mean fans can look forward to Jennifer Lawrence and her co-stars, because the following parts of “The Hunger Games” may be more about the prehistory of the cruel Hunger Games. Nothing has been resolved so far, but the signs are good that the Hunger Games will not finally disappear from movie screens, with or without Jennifer Lawrence remains to be seen.

Although it seemed that the episodes of “The Hunger Games” were over, things could be fine now. If more parts of the saga emerge, Jennifer Lawrence will most likely not be involved, but she definitely won’t miss a movie night if the rumors are confirmed.
