You don’t really have to prove Keanu Reeves is a tough pig priest. However, this behind-the-scenes video makes it clear that he is physically and mentally in his prime for “John Wick 3.”


Keanu Reeves (“Dangerous Surf”) is, of course, an absolute badass when the camera isn’t working. But for his role as an action hero in the “John Wick” movies, 54-year-old Handkanten-Jesus pushes his limits again. Through ruthless martial arts and firearms training, Reeves puts his body in tip-top shape to give the eponymous ex-assassin almost supernatural agility and precision. It follows that the exceptional performer of “John Wick: Chapter 3” can be seen in about 98% of all scenes.

In a featured behind-the-scenes video, we can see Reeves training with different weapons and performing various martial arts moves. Director Chad Stahelski and producer Erica Lee praise Reeves’ dedication and explain how his physical effort is reflected in the quality of the film. Reeves’ stunt double Jackson Spidell is also impressed by the work of his acting counterpart.

Harder, harder, Halle Berry

In “John Wick: Chapter 3” we will not only see Reeves at the height of his physical abilities, but also his co-star Halle Berry.who even trained as a dog trainer for the shoot. According to Reeves, Berry completed the extremely demanding “John Wick” training program without any problems and impressed him with his performance and willingness to work.

“Some people say they want to do ‘John Wick’ training until it starts. Then they say, ‘Oh, THAT’s the’ John Wick ‘workout.
