Huawei: ¿No hay señales del nuevo Android 11 - P30 y compañía ahora para la papelera?

Lack of licenses from Google and company puts Huawei in a difficult year

Huawei: No sign of the new Android 11 - P30 and company now for the trash?

Huawei faces a difficult year. After record new sales, the mood in 2020 is subdued, because the US just won’t give up.

The turn of the year is over and nothing has happened yet. Huawei is blacklisted in the US, causing problems in cooperation with US companies. While it has already been possible to switch hardware to partners outside US borders, this is simply not possible with some of the world’s most popular software programs. Outside of China there is no way around Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Co., good alternatives are few and far between.

Huawei suffers from a suspicious US government

That’s why the Chinese company is going through tough times after another record year. Sales in 2019 are around 18% higher than in the previous year. However, growth has slowed recently. It will be more difficult to keep growing. Not only for lack of software licenses. The distrust shown by the US government is shaking Huawei in other business areas as well. There are growing discussions about whether Huawei should not be excluded from the expansion of the 5G network.

In the long term, the US government will continue to clamp down on leading technology development, a challenging environment for Huawei to survive and prosper.

According to Reuters, Huawei will do everything in its power to bring its own mobile services to a market-ready level. This includes your own app store with a full range, but also cloud storage like Google Drive and map services like Google Maps.
