OnePlus partially reveals the functions and features of the new 8 series smartphones, the leaks do their part and reveal even more.
What’s in the upcoming OnePlus smartphones is largely predictable, partly officially confirmed by the manufacturer, and now known in almost every detail thanks to a generous leak. The only thing missing is the final sale prices, which OnePlus plans to reveal at its own event on April 14 at the latest. The manufacturer had already announced that the OnePlus 8 Pro can be charged wirelessly with up to 30 watts. Set RAM to LPDDR5 and data memory to UFS 3.0.

OnePlus also catches up to the competition in the details
It was also predictable that the new 120HZ AMOLED display (6.67 ″, QHD +) would only be found in the Pro. While the single OnePlus 8 offers a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz (6.55 ″, FHD +). In both models, OnePlus offers 8 and 12 GB of RAM, as well as 128 and 256 GB of storage. On the Pro, the ultra-wide camera has a resolution of 48 MP, which is very reminiscent of Oppo’s Find X2 Pro. The optically stabilized zoom camera is only available on the Pro model, as is the 5 MP color filter. For the base, OnePlus installs a 48 MP main camera with OIS on both variants, but a newer generation on the Pro.
Another new highlight, according to Winfuture Leak, is the IP68 certification, which OnePlus did not want to offer in recent years for various reasons. But with prices getting closer and closer to Samsung and Co., OnePlus has to put its excuses aside and fill the data sheet with more modern features.
As a whole, the team should look like it’s already leaked from colleagues:
