LG wants to accelerate a bit more with the provision of Android 10, perhaps now we are seeing positive effects for the first time from the software update center that was launched some time ago. In recent years, LG has not exactly covered itself with fame, although the Android smartphone portfolio of South Koreans is already quite manageable and quite small. Updates to new versions of Android do not rush to G and V series devices.

Patience is still required

Maybe it’s a bit faster with the new Android 10, at least now there’s been an initial announcement. At the moment, Android 10 is launching a public preview program and the final firmware update should be delivered towards the end of the current year. Only the LG G8 and V50 are certainly affected at first, and only the domestic South Korean market was initially mentioned.

International LG smartphone buyers may need a little more patience, but at least something is already happening.
