I have candy fever right now! I really love caramel sauce and I always have a portion in the fridge. Often times a glass like this stays for months untouched, at this point I could just scoop it out or nibble on it all the time… I have no idea why. 300 GRAM sugar

125 g Butter

180 GRAM cream

1 prize Salt

Put the sugar in a large saucepan and let it melt over medium heat, avoiding stirring if possible, otherwise it will be crystal clear.

When the sugar has largely melted, you can stir and wait until it turns a nice golden brown color.

Add the butter and stir until you have a smooth dough. Now remove the saucepan from the heat and add the cream while stirring. Stir until it is a nice, creamy, runny consistency.

Fill in the jars and close, store in the refrigerator. It is best to serve at room temperature, so take something out of the refrigerator beforehand.
