Motorola is currently expanding its portfolio of new Android smartphones considerably, and the One series is now expanding to include a new specialty model every few months. Now is the time for the macro smartphone, which probably has a main camera that specializes in macro shots. More recently it was the Motorola One Action, with an ultra wide angle camera that can also be used in a vertical position. I am currently testing the wide angle smartphone.

New smartphone for “new” camera features

Motorola seems to give the macro smartphone, which should simply be called the One Macro, a main camera with a total of four sensors. So the lowest sensor is probably just the laser autofocus. At least that’s what the first image of the device that has now emerged reveals. Unlike the latest One series models, the display has a noticeable notch for the front camera and the edges of the display also appear a bit thicker.

Under the hood there is probably weak hardware, but that is not yet known exactly. Regardless, I don’t think it’s wise to dedicate a completely separate smartphone to each camera function. One of the known models so far this year:
