Geeks around the world claims to have learned that Marvel is looking for two Asian-looking actors a man between 40 and 60who is supposed to embody a wise old statesman and leader, and a woman between 30 and 40 years oldwho should be chosen as his best warrior and confidant. According to the website, the movie could be “Black Panther 2” and the characters are about Namor’s extended family, the Sub-Mariner. He is the ruler of Atlantis and something like the Aquaman of the Marvel Universe.

Geeks around the world according to the woman’s description, Namora matched, Namor’s cousin and daughter of an Atlantean and a human woman. Therefore, the older leader could be his king or even his father (in the comics he only appears marginally). Namor and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman), both aristocrats and ardent leaders of their people, fought each other in Marvel stories. a confrontation between Atlantis and Wakanda in “Black Panther 2” would not only be great, but also quite conceivable.

Many fans also see Okoyes (Danai Gurira) briefing Natasha (Scarlett Johansson) in “Avengers 4: Endgame,” in which he mentions earthquakes in the sea off the coast of Wakanda, as a hidden reference to Namor’s appearance, the “Avengers 4”. Authors Stephen McFeely and Christopher Markus debunked this rumor The Hollywood Reporter but already with the humble declaration “I wish we were so smart.” Of course, this does not rule out the appearance of the newt. Namor could possibly even be seen in “Doctor Strange 2”.

But not “Black Panther 2”?

If the movie is a different blockbuster than Marvel, it would be because of the ethnicity of the wanted actors “Shang-Chi” is also a possible candidate to film Down Under. The characters could be the Mandarin, whose next appearance in the MCU has already been confirmed in person by Kevin Feige, and one of his assistants.

Both films should be released in 2021 at the earliest, “Shang-Chi” is written by Dave Callaham (“The Expendables”) and directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (“The Glass Castle”). Ryan Coogler (“Creed”) writes the script and directs “Black Panther 2.”
