We’ve been eagerly awaiting Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio’s adaptation of “Killers Of The Flower Moon.” Filming should finally start in the summer, but it won’t work, much to the delight of Guillermo del Toro, by the way.
“The Irishman” turns out to be perhaps the biggest project in Martin Scorsese’s career. Since his Netflix mobster thriller shows the characters played by Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci at various ages and the actors are digitally rejuvenated on the computer, post-production is so complex that Scorsese probably won’t be able to make another movie in 2019. He has to dedicate his full time to the production of the Netflix streaming service.
As a result, his film adaptation of “Killers Of The Flower Moon”, which has been planned for years, has to be postponed once again. The story about the early days of the FBI and a murder investigation with Leonardo DiCaprio in the title role should be filmed in late summer and fall 2019. While we have to wait for this movie, this opens the door for another collaboration.
DiCaprio and del Toro
Because DiCaprio has recently teamed up with Guillermo del Toro’s remake of the black classic “Nightmare Alley,” aka “The Charlatan.” Whether DiCaprio can sneak up on Del Toro, who teams up with a psychiatrist to rip off more people, has so far been mostly a matter of a date.
Now HN Entertainment reports that it is insured that del Toro will film “Nightmare Alley” in Toronto, Canada, from September 2019 to January 2020. And Leonardo DiCaprio should really take on the lead role. After all, there is now space on your schedule.
New Scorsese and DiCaprio movies
While we still don’t know exactly when “The Irishman” will appear on Netflix (probably fall 2019) and when exactly “Nightmare Alley” will be released in theaters (realist: late 2020), other films by Martin Scorsese or with Leonardo tell us. expect soon. DiCaprio. Scorsese’s “Rolling Thunder Revue: A Bob Dylan Story By Martin Scorsese” will be available on Netflix beginning June 12, 2019. Meanwhile, DiCaprio can be seen in Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon A Time In… Hollywood” August 2019.
