In the world of smart watches, the next acquisition is looming, Google’s parent company Alphabet wants to take over Fitbit. Fossil and Fitbit to improve Google products and for a larger ecosystem.

Google only acquired part of Fossil a few months ago to optimize Wear OS development. A Pixel Watch was not yet in sight, there were only rumors about said watch over and over again. Although the Fitbit acquisition is far from over, the company’s shares reacted with a direct jump.

In any case, I would expect future Fitbit devices to also support Google Pay. Other than that, so far I have been a huge fan of Fitbit wearable devices and have been using Charge 2 and Charge 3 for the past few years.
