HMD is making a mistake, because more and more of its own smartphones are hardly different from each other. Now the Nokia 7.1 has been introduced, which hardly brings any innovations to the previous devices and is actually too expensive. At the front, HMD has installed a 5.84-inch notch display with HDR10 support, while a 12 + 5-megapixel ZEISS camera is used at the rear.

A Snapdragon 636 is installed under the hood, which has at least 3 gigabytes of RAM and 32 gigabytes of data storage next to it. Visually and technically, this device hardly offers anything new, priced at 339 euros without a prescription. Well that’s what the Nokia 6.1 Plus and the earlier Nokia 7 Plus are for. The installed Android 8 Oreo is also disappointing, although a large Android One is stamped on the back.

I’m a big Nokia fan, but this device disappoints a bit. Especially with its battery, which is only 3060 mAh and USB-C with 2.0 standard. Why buy this device? I do not know either. I expect a 7.1 plus, with more power.
