“Normal people”: advice of the erotic series for all fans of “365 days”

New Amazon Series

“Normal People” is already one of the 2020 streaming hits in Britain and the US. The series originally produced for BBC and Hulu can now also be seen on Amazon Prime Video in Germany. We will show you why the sex scenes in this series seem particularly attractive and how you can watch “Normal People” as a Prime customer at no additional charge.

“Normal people”: that’s what the new series is about

“Normal People” tells of the complex intermittent relationship between Irish teenagers Marianne (Daisy Edgar-Jones) and Connell (Paul Mescal). Although the two are vastly different – he’s the popular athlete, she’s the lonely but self-confident introvert – there is a spark between them when their paths cross: Connell’s mother works as a janitor for Marianne’s wealthy family.

Then an unusual and highly sexual relationship develops between the young people, who they want to keep a secret. Of course, this does not work without complications. The two part again and again, but the attraction still lingers when they meet again later in life. Curious? You can get a first impression of the talented newcomer actors in the trailer:

At first glance, “Normal People” looks like a normal teenage series, as we have seen many times. However, the novel of the same name by Sally Rooney, who also co-wrote the script for the series, was already a bestseller in the United States and Great Britain in 2018. The German translation of the novel will only be available from August , and you can already see the series with German subtitles. Those who prefer German dubbing should be patient – according to Amazon, it will follow shortly.

Intimate sex scenes, but different from “365 days”

Many women find movies and series with erotic scenes more attractive than poorly made porn movies because they stimulate their own mental cinema. More recently, this was demonstrated by the success of the Netflix movie “365 Days”, which was long in the top 10 of the streaming provider in Germany. This film, based on a Polish novel, is not without controversy: critics accuse it of romanticizing sexual assault. Fortunately, “normal people” take a completely different path. Here, too, we often see the young actors naked, but the sex scenes seem much more authentic and intimate. This is mainly due to the fact that a story is told by completely normal people, in which many will surely find themselves: problems, but also passion in young relationships are very realistically shown here.

Here’s how you can see “Normal People” on Amazon Prime

“Normal People” is definitely worth watching, but there is a slight downside: to be able to watch the series on Amazon Prime Video, you must also subscribe to the Starzplay channel for a fee of 4.86 euros per month. But there is a little trick: Prime customers can try the Starzplay channel for 14 days at no charge. With 12 episodes, each of which is only about 30 minutes long, the series can be easily viewed during this time. Anyone who cancels during this trial period pays nothing. However, a subscription to the channel can also be useful for fans of movies and series: the hit series “Killing Eve” and blockbusters such as “American Psycho” and “Eat Pray Love” can also be seen on Starzplay. Not an Amazon customer? You can also subscribe to Starzplay independently via Apple tv +, Rakuten TV, or your own app. There is also a free 14-day trial period here, after which the subscription, which can be flexibly canceled, costs 4.99 euros per month.

Amazon Prime is really competing with Netflix – according to our colleagues at kino.de, the streaming provider is worth it for these movies:
