In “21 Bridges,” “Avengers 4: Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo and “Black Panther” actor Chadwick Boseman celebrate a little reunion: the Russos as producers behind the camera and Boseman as the tough cop in front of she.
Eight police officers were killed in a robbery in New York. A disgraced detective (Chadwick Boseman) wants to track down the perpetrators by closing the 21 bridges leading to Manhattan, closing the three rivers and blocking the tunnels. He hunts down unscrupulous killers tenaciously. The policeman feels personally attacked because his father, also a policeman, was shot while on duty. It is worse when he discovered a great conspiracy during his hunt and had to suspect his own colleagues …
Not just behind the camera, Anthony and Joe Russo are some of the prominent names involved in the action thriller “21 Bridges.” Oscar winner JK Simmons (“Whiplash”), Sienna Miller (“The Girl”), Keith David (“Jazz”) and Stephan James (“Homecoming”) play alongside “Black Panther” star Chadwick Boseman.
“21 Bridges” will be released in theaters in Germany on July 25, 2019.
