Opel introduced the Grandland X Hybrid4 in May last year. Back then, only the first technical specs were revealed. The Rüsselsheim manufacturer still owed a price. Now, shortly before the market launch, Opel has taken the price of its new plug-in hybrid SUV out of its hat.
How much does the Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 cost?
If you opt for a leasing model, you can get it from 399 euros a month and put the new all-wheel drive vehicle on your doorstep. If you want to buy the Opel Grandland X Hybrid4 Innovation, you have to put at least 51,165 euros on the table. You can still deduct the environmental bonus for plug-in hybrid vehicles from this.
The vehicle equipment includes a system power of up to 221 kW / 300 PS. In addition to a 1.6-liter gasoline turbo direct injection unit (147 kW / 200 PS), there is also an electric unit with two electric motors (front: 81 kW / 110 PS; rear: 83 kW / 113 PS). According to the WLTP test procedure, the 13.2 kWh lithium-ion battery enables the car to travel up to 59 kilometers on electric power alone. It is possible to reach a maximum speed of 135 km / h in E mode and recovery is also used. A charging cable is included in the scope of delivery for charging the energy storage device from the household socket.
Fast on the go
If you turn on the combustion engine, Opel’s new plug-in hybrid SUV can travel up to 235 km / h on its 19-inch alloy wheels. According to the manufacturer, an acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.1 seconds is possible. And so that you can enjoy driving to the fullest, there are four driving modes available: electric (for example, for stopped traffic), hybrid, integral and sport, in addition to the “e-Save” function. This allows enough energy to be stored in advance until it is needed later in the journey.
Inside, you can expect assistance from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The standard equipment also includes a two-zone automatic air conditioning.
Security is very important
Safety is also guaranteed in the new Opel Grandland X Hybrid4. For example, you can rely on a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking and pedestrian detection. Lane Keeping Assist and Drowsiness Detection are also on board. Likewise, a traffic sign recognition and a blind spot warning. An extension is possible to include a 360 degree camera, a reversing camera with parking pilot and an automatic speed assist that maintains the selected distance to the vehicle in front and brakes and accelerates accordingly at an additional cost.
