The boy now lives with relatives.
Both parents had pleaded guilty in court to neglecting their daughter and putting her in danger. Judge Sarah Huggett declared that the boy’s diet was “completely inappropriate”, reports the British media outlet “BBC”. In addition, he addressed parents with this appeal:
“It is the responsibility of all parents to ensure that their children’s diet is balanced and contains enough nutrients to grow properly.”
With the charity, the two managed to avoid a prison sentence, since the maximum penalty would have been five years in prison. The boy, who is now three years old, is now in the care of relatives. The biological parents can visit you regularly.
