Tall, blond, blue eyes: Paul Walker was one of the most sought-after actors in the movie factory and achieved cult status with the “Fast & Furious” series. After the actor’s death, Hollywood was grieving for a long time, but his younger brother Cody Walker has decided to inherit the “Fast & Furious 7” star and become an actor like Paul Walker.
When Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident two years ago, Hollywood seemed to stand still for a moment. Fans and colleagues of the popular actor were shocked, but the question quickly arose as to who will inherit Paul Walker in his unfinished film “Fast & Furious 7”. Thanks to the support of his two brothers Cody and Caleb Walker, the film could be finished and one of the two Walker brothers now seems to be on his way to Hollywood.
Cody Walker, who took his first steps in film as Paul Walker’s body double, has now landed his first real role in a movie according to “Deadline” magazine. Consequently, the younger brother of Vin Diesel’s best friend is supposed to star in the movie “USS Indianapolis: Men of Courage” alongside Hollywood star Nicolas Cage. In the film, Cage plays Captain Charles Butler McVay, whose ship, which also gave the project its name, is affected by the first atomic bomb. Paul Walker’s brother is said to represent one of the sailors fighting for his life aboard the ship.
Paul Walker: his brother Cody could replace him
Filming with Paul Walker’s ex-body double is taking place in Alabama and is already underway. But the war drama shouldn’t be the only film project with Cody Walker. In “Fast & Furious 8” he is supposed to take on a permanent role as another member of the O’Conner family, replacing his late brother Paul Walker forever and following in his great strides.
Hopefully, Cody Walker doesn’t try too hard to succeed his famous brother Paul Walker and prefers to go his own way in Hollywood. His older brother would be proud of him.
