Optical heart rate monitor on the back
It is almost taken for granted: the Polar Grit X is equipped with an optical heart rate monitor on the back, which can also work at night if necessary. So, of course, you are not allowed to remove your watch. You can also use a sleep analysis to find out how well you have recovered during the night. If you have connected the watch to your smartphone via Bluetooth, you can display call, message, email, and calendar event notifications on the touch screen.
A 346 mAh battery is responsible for the power supply. In watch mode with continuous heart rate measurement, Polar promises an operating time of up to a week, in training mode (GPS and heart rate measurement) the energy storage lasts up to 40 hours according to the manufacturer. But you can choose different power saving options to extend the runtime.
