A few weeks ago, Prince Friso died after 18 months in a coma: the Dutch and all of Europe participated in the death of the prince. Now the Dutch royal family has thanked them for their participation in the death of Prince Friso.
The Royals published on their official home page the moving words with which they thank everyone who was by their side during the difficult moment of mourning for Prince Friso. The message was signed by Mabel, the wife of Prince Friso, his two daughters, his mother Beatrix, the royal couple Willem-Alexander and Maxima and his brother Constantijn and his wife Laurentien.
“We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your warm words, expressions of support, and condolences. Friso’s devotion, loyalty and love meant a lot to us. His insight, his ability to connect things, his humor, and his confident but humble presence will stay with us forever.The Dutch royal family wrote, thanking all who mourned Prince Friso with them.

Prince Friso’s wife also posted the thank you link on her Twitter account, including the many tweets she received after Prince Friso’s death. It was the first tweet she sent to her followers after the death of her husband. On August 12, Prince Friso died after being in a coma for 18 months as a result of an avalanche accident. A week later, his family took him to his grave in a small town near Utrecht.
The thanks of the Dutch royalty touches our hearts! It is good to know that you are not alone in your grief for Prince Friso and that many people think of you. We also wish the family great strength in coping with the loss of Prince Friso.
