Just four months ago, Prince William helped his wife Kate Middleton give birth to their son George. Now the future king was once again a guest in a hospital and actually observed various operations there. With this, Prince William returns to dedicate himself to projects similar to those of his famous mother Diana.
According to the British newspaper “Mirror”, Prince William visited the “Royal Marsden” hospital in Chelsea and observed, among other things, how two surgeons removed a tumor from a patient’s bladder. As also reported by the “express.co.uk” portal, Prince William is said to have enjoyed the time at the operating table very much. and even asked about the severity and course of the procedure.
The highlight for Prince William was probably the moment when he was allowed to examine the infected tissue through a microscope. The number two in line’s visit to the British throne, however, included a second operation to reconstruct a patient’s chest. The hospital later announced, according to “express.co.uk”, that Prince William was brave during this procedure: “Nobody passed out. The Duke was very calm and very interested in our new and innovative interventions ”.
Prince William does it like Princess DianaBy the way, Prince William is not the first royal to show an interest in medicine. Princess Diana was the patron of the Royal Marsden Foundation for many years. As early as 1996, Prince William’s mother surprised the British when she attended a major open heart operation while visiting Harefield Hospital in Middlesex.
We think it is impressive that Prince William fought so bravely on the operating table. Also, the future king of Great Britain looks great in his blue surgical gown.
