Not only here in Germany, but also in the United States, people are preparing for the upcoming Christmas with great anticipation. Princess Madeleine could also smell a little Christmas air in New York. After all, the daughter of the Swedish king does not have to do without the traditions she has grown to love far from home. Through Facebook, Princess Madeleine gave her fans an idea of how to celebrate Christmas in the “Big Apple” …
Spending the Advent season in wintry New York – many people secretly dream about it. For Princess Madeleine, who has lived and worked in the metropolis for years and also met her husband Chris O’Neill there, this dream came true a long time ago. This year, too, the 32-year-old spent the first days of Advent in her foster home and got into the Christmas spirit there. How she did it outside of Sweden, Princess Madeleine now revealed on her Facebook account.
The fact that Princess Madeleine is already looking forward to the festivities seems to be due in particular to a true New York Christmas tradition. The royal beauty posted a snapshot of the famous Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center on Facebook, which has been delighting people with its colorful lights for decades. “Christmas is just around the corner,” said Princess Madeleine, commenting on her little Christmas surprise for her Facebook followers, who also raved about the photo.

The pre-Christmas mood also appears to have contributed to the fact that Princess Madeleine in New York can move freely as a descendant of world-famous nobility. So he didn’t take the photo of the Christmas tree from a safe distance, but directly into the crowd at Rockefeller Center. In the meantime, however, Princess Madeleine should have left the festively decorated New York. After all, this Wednesday is this year’s Nobel prize-giving ceremony in Stockholm, where the entire Swedish royal family traditionally shows up.
Duty calls again today, but apparently even Princess Madeleine can’t escape the anticipation of Christmas. It is not surprising! After all, this year the pretty Swedish girl will be able to see her little daughter unwrapping presents for the first time.
