Samsung is bringing a major update for One UI to its own Android smartphones. Now the South Korean manufacturer has unveiled and announced its One UI 2. In writing and with moving images, South Koreans show what we can expect from the new software. First of all, Samsung will optimize and readjust the appearance and some of the One UI components, and will certainly also align them with feedback from its own customers.

A UI 2 is mostly reset

The software should provide users with more information at a glance, and important elements can also be accessed more easily. The division of the display area and the interaction area will be optimized accordingly. There’s an improved dark mode, new icons, new assistants for sound (live captions) and picture (high-contrast features), and much more.

Samsung will initially bring its new software to the latest flagship smartphones, then to expensive models from previous years, and of course to some other cheaper device series smartphones and tablets. Samsung does not usually publish a schedule.
