Everyone is pouring ice water! If you haven’t noticed what’s behind this ominous trend: the so-called “Ice Bucket Challenge” is an ALS disease fundraising campaign currently circulating on Facebook. All nominees must pour a bucket of ice water on their heads and / or make a donation to the ALS Foundation within 24 hours. Now Taylor Swift has also been nominated …

Taylor Swift participates

Taylor Swift is actually a real girl: elegant dresses, perfect makeup, and perfectly styled hair. But when it comes to a good cause, the country singer’s commitment knows no bounds. Pouring a bucket of ice water on your head becomes a matter of honor!

Facebook inventor Mark Zuckerberg did it, Bill Gates did it, Justin Bieber did it, and actually all of Hollywood just fell for the Ice Bucket Challenge. Even the president of the United States, Barack Obama, has been nominated to face the great challenge. Needless to say, Hollywood darling Taylor Swift agrees too. The “I Knew We Were in Trouble” singer posted a funny video on Instagram in which she faces the freezing shower.

Taylor Swift nominated Selena Gomez

Taylor Swift wouldn’t be Taylor Swift if she didn’t join in the fun too – also for a good cause! Her best friend, Selena Gomez, was not spared either: the 22-year-old was nominated by Taylor Swift and quickly responded to the news with a video from her terrace. The wet T-shirt contest of a different kind is going around. According to Time magazine, the ALS ALSA Foundation has already raised more than $ 5.5 million in donations. Last year, however, it was only $ 32,000 at the time!

Thumbs up for so much commitment! Thanks to Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber and company, more money has been raised than ever. There is also something to laugh about with the funny videos for fans and sick people. A complete and successful fundraising campaign.
