All’s well That ends well. The last few days the atmosphere between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj was quite charged. They had a heated exchange on Twitter. Now Taylor Swift has backed down and apologized to the rapper.
It all started when Nicki Minaj got upset on Twitter because her video for “Anaconda” was overlooked at the MTV Video Music Awards. Instead, the rapper complained, the “VMA” jury would only consider videos with thin women. Taylor Swift, who was nominated nine times this year, including for her “Bad Blood” video, which featured all of her model friends, felt understandably attacked by Nicki Minaj. There was a back and forth between the two singers, in which first their fans and finally Katy Perry interfered. Now Taylor Swift reported on Twitter on the subject again, this time with conciliatory words.
“I thought it was about me. But that was not the point, I got it wrong. Sorry Nicki, “Taylor Swift wrote in her tweet. Nicki Minaj was very impressed by such honesty and courage and accepted the public apology of the singer of “Shake It Off”: “That means a lot to me, Taylor, thank you,” she replied. To make sure fans understand that the dispute is resolved, the “Anaconda” singer added in a second message: “I always wanted her. Everybody makes mistakes. She earned a lot of respect from me. Now let’s change the subject ”. After such a beautiful declaration of love, the difference of opinion between Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj should be resolved.
I thought they were calling me. I missed the point, I misunderstood, then I was wrong. Sorry, Nicki. @NICKI MINAJ

Nicki Minaj thanks Taylor Swift’s enemy Katy Perry
Finally, Katy Perry also got a little smiling kiss from Nicki Minaj via Twitter. The rapper wanted to thank the “Teenage Dream” singer for supporting her immediately during her discussion with Taylor Swift. Katy Perry, who has been at war with Taylor Swift for a long time and is apparently also criticized on Taylor’s song “Bad Blood,” wrote: “I find it ironic to get angry when one woman attacks the other, when you capitalize on it yourself to prepare a woman … ” These words make it clear: Katy and Taylor have a long way to go before their dispute is resolved.
It’s great that Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj are back at it all. You really have to give them credit for the fact that they expressed themselves in a very mature and no-nonsense way throughout the discussion, which probably contributed to the fact that reconciliation wasn’t too difficult for them.Image Source: Getty Images / Larry Busacca
