A study shows that around 24 million Germans go to bed with their smartphones and therefore have trouble sleeping properly. One in four adults is said to be affected by this problem, according to the study shared by OnePlus. There is hardly any other place where the smartphone is used so frequently.
Insomnia in bed
The younger a user is, the more likely it is that smartphone use is the cause of insomnia. The study also confirms the extent to which smartphones are monopolizing us: “But insomnia is just the most common side effect. 14 percent said they no longer realized someone was talking to them because they were busy with their smartphone. 12 percent were even late for appointments or missed them entirely due to smartphone use. “
To reduce lack of sleep, blue light filters and other functions are recommended. OnPlus offers ZenMode, Google Concentration Mode. But of course the most popular advice is to just leave your smartphone on the left and do not disturb or activate the flight mode.
