It doesn’t always have to be the finished shampoo – you have several options for using aloe vera on your hair. We especially recommend aloe vera gel *, which you can either get yourself from the aloe vera plant or buy ready-made.

Having an aloe vera plant at home is worth it!

# 1 pure aloe vera

The simplest way to use aloe vera gel is pure. Just spread it all over your scalp and all over your hair before washing.

# 2 As an additive in shampoo

Just mix a tablespoon of aloe vera gel in your usual amount of shampoo and wash your hair as you normally would.

# 3 As a conditioner

Use the gel after washing your hair. Massage thoroughly into the lengths and ends and then rinse well with clean water.

# 4 As a hair conditioner

If you don’t want to buy a ready-to-use hair treatment with aloe vera, you can easily do it yourself: Mix two to three tablespoons of aloe vera gel with one tablespoon of honey, depending on the length of your hair. Gently massage the mixture into the scalp and leave it on for at least 45 minutes. Then wash your hair with a mild shampoo *.

# 5 As a leave-in regimen

For your DIY no-rinse regimen, you only need two tablespoons of aloe vera, two tablespoons of water, and a little essential oil of your choice. We recommend rosemary oil, as it has a very positive effect on the hair structure. Mix the ingredients in a bowl and stir with a spoon until a smooth liquid forms. You can (as the name suggests) simply leave the leave-in treatment on your hair after application.

# 6 As a drink

Drink aloe vera? In fact, you can! There are special drinking gels with aloe vera * available to buy, which are also supposed to supply the body with nutrients internally and strengthen the immune system. Between 50 and 100 ml is recommended as a daily dose. It doesn’t necessarily have to be drunk on its own, but it can also be added to juice or smoothie.
